Clock is ticking.

Updating my Chart for the weekend. I've made progress on everything. BSB just requires some detail and Basing, TZerald needs a touchup. 2nd unit of bloodletters needs sheen and eyes and teeth painted as well as basing and swords cleanup. 3rd unit of bloodletters needs same as 2nd unit with sword edging needed to be done. Pink Horrors need touchup, Furies are almost done and need basing, screamers are almost done on being touched up. Fiends just need a little more detail and bases finished.

Shouldn't have had cheese the other night before bed, had weird dreams about warhammer tournaments and real life doom divers.

Can't wait to kill some shit on the weekend. Sure we've got tough lists but it's all about how you play it on the day. The missus is going to bring some skaven to paint and provide moral support. Plus she wants to get a feel for tournaments when she pops her tournament cherry at Natcon. At the moment she's looking at running GUO, Tzherald and 2 Letter hordes plus chaff.

From the Playbook

So we had a good old look at the playing field last night and devised our playbook. Developed some strategies (Poisoning their water supply, getting trumped up charges against at least one of the players in each team and general nastiness.)

Dunn, Dunner and Dunnerer, and the OLD, and the NEW are the ones to watch.

Almost finished painting my letters and touching up all my other models. Suffice to say that each time I've painted 20 letters it's taken roughly half the time that the previous 20 did. So need to paint something else up after this.

NZTC Tournament prep update

NZTC Schedule. And there is a whole bunch of smack talk going around at the moment. we've been rated by the Von Trapps but must be taken with a grain of salt because they're taking as dirty lists as we are. I'm looking forward to bringing out my Daemons.

Angels and Golems

So looks like I will be getting 3 of these each with my Mantic Kickstarter backing. I can think of many uses for these guys.

These look like they're gonna be fun, only a month or two to wait now.

20 Bloodletters goes into 30 and Converted Herald of Khorne

20 Bloodletters done as of yesterday at 12 noon. This is how you fit 20 bloodletters into a 30 strong horde and still make it look cool. Rocks.

...and Herald BSB with Armour of Khorne, I converted a Bestigor Body with limbs of a bloodletter and some old skool Chaos warrior shoulderpads and put two standards together. He definitely has the presence of a BSB and stands about 5" high.

...and Moar Bloodletters,2 bloodletter models on Warpstone per 50mmx 50mm base.
